Christmas Family Fun Day
We hosted our very first Christmas Family Fun Day at the Diamond Valley Miniature Railway.
On Sunday, 3rd December 2023, we hosted our very first Christmas Family Fun Day at the Diamond Valley Miniature Railway. It was all about having a great time together and celebrating the wonderful families, kids, and staff that make up our Emble community!
Guess who showed up? Santa Claus himself, accompanied by one of his elves! Santa and his elf came with lots of presents for the kids, making everyone’s day extra special. Seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces when they got their gifts was the best part of the day!
We made sure no one went hungry. We put on a yummy sausage sizzle. And the best part? Everyone got to enjoy unlimited train rides on the miniature railway! It was like a little adventure for everyone, young and old.
Our awesome therapists set up fun games on the lawn for everyone to play. From parachute games to giant Jenga, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was great to see everyone having such a blast together!
For those who wanted to get creative, there were glitter tattoo stations and Christmas craft activities. It was a chance for the kids to express themselves and make some Christmas crafts to take home.
At Emble, we want everyone to feel included. That’s why we made sure to have aided language displays to help everyone communicate and join in on the fun.
As the day came to an end, we felt so grateful for the amazing time we shared together. Thanks to all the families, kids, and staff who made our first Christmas Family Fun Day so memorable. We can’t wait to do it all again in 2024!
