A Playful Day Out: Our January Quarterly Team Day

We paused our operations for a day to treat our dedicated team to a day at Funfields, coupled with a vital professional development course centred on combating burnout within the allied health sector.

On Wednesday, 24th January 2024, we did something a little different – we closed our clinic for our January quarterly team day! Every quarter, we take a break from our usual routine to focus on team bonding, professional development, and, most importantly, having fun. We believe that playfulness is key to staying connected and energised, and it’s one of our core values as a team.

We started our day with an insightful professional development session led by Clinical Psychologist, Danielle Graber from 12 Points Psychology. Danielle shared the SPARKS approach to managing burnout, which is so important for us as Allied Health professionals. Her advice was incredibly helpful, giving us the tools we need to stay balanced and resilient throughout the year.

After our morning of learning, we unleashed our ‘inner children’ at Fun Fields! From thrilling water slides and amusement rides to indulging in ice cream and splashing around in the wave pool, the day was certainly one we’ll never forget.

This playful day out not only brought us closer together but also helped us recharge and get ready for the busy months ahead. With new strategies to manage burnout and wonderful memories of a fun-filled day, we’re excited to take on 2024 with positivity and enthusiasm!
