Parent/Caregiver Support Groups
Carer and Parent Groups
Emble Allied Health is proud to be a partner organisation in the delivery of the Envisage Program.
What is the Envisage Program?
The Envisage Program is an evidence-based peer support program designed to help parents and caregivers of children aged 0-8 years of age with developmental concerns or disability.
The Envisage Program is an opportunity to:
- Connect with other parents and carers who understand your journey
- Learn practical strategies to advocate for your child and family
- Discover new approaches to caring for yourself while supporting your family.
What’s Involved?
As part of the Envisage Program, parents and carers participate in 5 workshops either in person or online.
- Workshop 1: What is health and well-being in early child and family development?
- Workshop 2: Child, sibling and family development.
- Workshop 3: Parenting is a dance led by the children.
- Workshop 4: Looking after myself, so I can look after my family.
- Workshop 5: Communication, collaboration and connection.
Please note, parents or caregivers do not need for their child to have a diagnosis or NDIS Plan to participate. It is fully funded by the Australian Government and is therefore, free.
