outdoor and interest-based group programs
for children
Therapist-led programs supporting engagement, participation and connection
through play and meaningful experiences.
Emble Explore is a suite of therapist-led capacity building group programs for children who benefit from more flexible, engaging and experience-based approaches to participation and development.
Programs are designed around:
- outdoor and nature-based experiences
- movement and exploration
- sensory and interest-led activities
- play, creativity and shared experiences
Programs are developed collaboratively by allied health professionals and facilitated by the most appropriate clinician depending on participant goals and support needs.
not all children engage in the same way
Some children:
- engage more naturally through movement, play or shared interests
- benefit from flexible and lower-demand environments
- participate more confidently in sensory-rich or real-world experiences
- build skills best through meaningful and motivating activities
Emble Explore provides alternative pathways into group participation, supporting children to build confidence, communication and engagement in ways that feel achievable and supportive.
how emble explore programs are delivered
Emble Explore includes two therapist-led program streams, designed around different ways children engage, participate and connect through shared experiences.
Some programs are delivered in outdoor and community environments, while others use themes, sensory experiences and shared interests to support engagement within structured group settings.
outdoor group therapy programs
Delivered in natural environments such as Bundoora Park, supporting regulation, participation and engagement through movement, exploration and real-world experiences.
