therapy and allied health support for young adults

young adult therapy designed
to fit your life

how we support you

At Emble Allied Health, we provide therapy for young adults in Mill Park, Bundoora and Melbourne’s north-east.

Young adulthood can involve change, uncertainty and new responsibilities. This might include finishing school, starting work or study, building independence, managing health, or navigating changes in support.

For some people, this stage involves ongoing disability or complex needs. For others, it may be a specific challenge such as communication, mental health, nutrition or physical wellbeing.

At Emble, we support young adults with a wide range of needs focusing on participation, independence and wellbeing in everyday life.

  • You are involved in decisions about your support
  • Your goals and preferences guide the process

support in everyday life

Support is designed to fit into your life – not the other way around.

  • Strategies are practical and relevant
  • Skills can be applied in real situations
  • Support aligns with your routines and environments

We don’t expect you to change who you are to fit into systems.
We support you to understand yourself and participate in ways that feel achievable and authentic.

This might involve:

  • Building skills where helpful
  • Adjusting environments or expectations
  • Supporting confidence and self-advocacy
  • Finding approaches that work for you

looking ahead

There’s no single path forward and that’s okay.

Where relevant, we support you to:

  • Explore interests, strengths and goals
  • Build confidence in community and work environments
  • Develop independence at your own pace
  • Navigate transitions in a way that works for you

assessments and early identification

We offer assessments to support planning and access to supports.

This may include:

  • Functional Capacity Assessments (NDIS)
  • Autism Assessment
  • Cognitive assessments
  • Communication assessments
  • Functional and occupational assessments

Assessments help guide meaningful support and future planning.
