parent and caregiver support in melbourne's north-east

supporting you to support your child

how we support you

At Emble, we recognise that parents and caregivers are central to a child’s development.

You know your child best – their strengths, their needs, their routines and what matters most in your everyday life.

Our role is to work alongside you, building your confidence, knowledge and capacity so that support continues beyond sessions and into the moments that matter most.

how we work with families

We don’t take your child away to “do therapy”.

Instead, we work in partnership with you, so that strategies are practical, meaningful and fit within your real life.

This means:

  • You are involved in sessions (where appropriate)
  • We share strategies you can use at home
  • Support is embedded into everyday routines
  • Progress continues beyond sessions

flexible ways to access support

Different ways to access guidance, support and connection as a parent or caregiver.

parent programs

If you’re looking for a starting point, our parent programs can be a helpful first step.

envisage families

Envisage Families is a government-funded program for parents and caregivers of young children with developmental differences or disability.

Emble is a Victorian Service Delivery Partner, meaning we are trained and supported to deliver this program as part of a broader network across Australia.

The Envisage Families program focuses on:

  • Building your understanding of your child’s development
  • Supporting communication, behaviour and participation
  • Strengthening your confidence in everyday parenting moments
  • Connecting with other families on a similar journey

It is designed to be:

  • Practical and relevant to everyday life
  • Strengths-based and neuroaffirming
  • Focused on building your capacity—not adding more to your plate

Importantly, Envisage Families is free to access, as it is government funded.

  • Feel confident responding to your child’s needs
  • Embed strategies into play, routines and daily life
  • Support participation across home, school and community

We bring clinical knowledge and experience.
You bring a deep understanding of your child and your family.

Together, we create approaches that are:

  • Individualised
  • Practical
  • Sustainable
  • Aligned with your family values and priorities

working beyond sessions

Support doesn’t stop when a session ends.

We work in partnership with the people around your child, including:

  • Parents and caregivers
  • Educators and teachers
  • Support workers and other professionals

This helps ensure strategies are consistent, connected and embedded across environments.

you are not expected to do this alone

Parenting can feel overwhelming – especially when navigating additional needs or uncertainty.

You’re not expected to have all the answers.

We’re here to support you to:

  • Feel more confident
  • Feel more supported
  • Feel clearer about what to do next
